The Psychology Department within the Division of Social Sciences at UC, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. The department invites applications for a Lecturer with Potential Security of Employment position in Psychology. The L(P)SOE series has been created for Academic Senate faculty members whose expertise and responsibilities center on scholarship of teaching, learning, and undergraduate education. Candidates must have a Ph.D., a strong record of teaching, and the potential for contributions more generally to scholarly pedagogy. Candidates will be favored who have teaching expertise in statistics and industrial and organizational psychology, applied, clinical or another substantive area not well represented by current faculty. The department seeks candidates whose research, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion in higher education.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
